EU leaders approve six-month extension of Russia sanctions.
According to webangah News Agency, European Union leaders have extended sanctions against Russia for another six months.
Two EU officials confirmed on Thursday that member states unanimously agreed to prolong restrictive measures imposed over Moscow’s war in Ukraine.
The bloc first implemented sweeping sanctions following Russia’s February 24, 2022 invasion of Ukraine, with the measures requiring renewal every six months through unanimous approval.
