Local source reports wave of Alawite arrests in Damascus suburbs by militants linked to al-Jolani faction.
A local source revealed that militants affiliated with teh al-Jolani terrorist faction launched a wave of arrests targeting Alawites in the Sayyida Zainab area, located in the outskirts of Damascus, yesterday. This was reported by webangah News Agency.
The source emphasized that Alawites are being specifically targeted in these arrests, with terrorists raiding residential adn commercial areas to detain dozens of Syrian youths without formal charges.
Since terrorist groups gained control in Syria, the Alawite community has faced not only arbitrary detentions but also mass killings and summary executions.
