According to webangah News Agency, zionist sources have reported a series of incidents against Israeli forces in northern Gaza over recent hours. In the first incident at 9:00 AM, resistance forces targeted a merkava tank from the 7th Armored Brigade and an adjacent building with RPG fire, killing one soldier and severely wounding two others while inflicting minor injuries on another serviceman.
In another operation, a Palestinian resistance sniper struck an Israeli commando brigade soldier from long range, leaving a Yegoz unit member seriously wounded.
A third incident occured at noon when an explosive device hit a D9 bulldozer,injuring two soldiers.
One soldier was killed and several others wounded in multiple attacks,including an operation in the Shujaiya neighborhood,while details about two other locations remain under media blackout. Additionally, a number of army personnel were injured by RPG fire.
A military source confirmed the death of a serviceman identified as “Yaniv Mikhalovich” and injuries to six others, with four reported in critical condition.
webangah News Agency (Follow) cited Israeli Channel 13’s report that after 8:00 AM, a Palestinian armed individual launched an anti-tank grenade at a house occupied by soldiers from the army’s “egoz” unit, wounding two troops. During subsequent evacuation efforts, another assailant targeted an Israeli military tank with a second grenade-killing one soldier and injuring three more.
Hamas’ military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, claims to have targeted an Israeli Merkava tank in southern Gaza.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, announced that on Tuesday evening it struck an Israeli Merkava tank with a powerful explosive device in the al-Zanna area east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
