According to teh English section of webangah News Agency, citing Anadolu News Agency via Mehr News Agency, Gideon Sa’ar, Israel’s Foreign Minister, announced that the regime summoned the Dutch ambassador on Tuesday.
The summon follows the Netherlands’ decision to ban two israeli cabinet ministers-Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Internal Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir-from entering the country.
earlier, Itamar Ben-Gvir responded to this Dutch travel ban by claiming, “In Europe, roles between oppressor and victim are reversed!”
Smotrich also asserted that neither the Netherlands nor Europe in general have been safe for Jews. He added there is a growing wave of antisemitism in these countries and declared he has devoted his life to Israel’s security.
Neither minister addressed European political and military support for Israel amid its ongoing actions against Gaza’s population.
The Dutch government held an emergency meeting after which it decided to take further measures against Tel Aviv.
