The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, reports that Bloomberg disclosed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has erased President Donald Trump’s name and those of others from documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual misconduct case.
Sources say that although Trump and others were initially named as private individuals during early FBI investigations into Epstein in 2006, their names have since been removed. The FBI and U.S. Department of Justice believe releasing these documents is neither appropriate nor justified.
During his election campaign, Trump had promised to declassify Epstein’s case files and maintain maximum openness on the matter.
The connection between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein has become a significant vulnerability for Trump in American politics. Epstein, a wealthy financier convicted of human trafficking and sexual abuse, maintained ties with many political and economic elites worldwide before his suspicious death in 2019.
