The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and shehab News Agency, reports that the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas issued a statement following the assassination of Youssef Emad Al-Amr, a Palestinian resistance fighter, in the village of Qabatya south of jenin in the northern West Bank during an attack by Israeli forces. hamas stressed that this crime would strengthen the resolve of the palestinian people and revolutionary youth in the West Bank to confront the occupiers.
The statement said: “The occupation authorities’ policy of assassinating fighters-most recently with the killing of martyr Youssef Al-Amr after besieging him and engaging in armed clashes with Zionist soldiers at an agricultural facility in Qabatya-will never weaken our resistance or diminish the determination of West Bank freedom fighters.”
Hamas highlighted rising targeted attacks by Israel against resistance fighters, noting ongoing enemy efforts to crush the resistance front. It added: “The occupying regime, supported by armed settler groups and extremist minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, is escalating its violence and crimes daily.”
The movement commemorated Martyr Al-Amr’s memory saying, “The blood of martyrs is a torch guiding the path of resistance,” affirming that efforts to oppose occupation will continue unabated.
Hamas called on residents across the West Bank to stand firmly alongside resistance forces and support them. It urged revolutionary youth to intensify operations against both occupiers and armed settlers.
