According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Monday via his social media platform Truth Social that India not only buys large quantities of Russian oil but also resells much of it on the open market at hefty profits.
The president added that India shows no concern for how many people are killed by Russia’s war machine in Ukraine. For this reason, he said he would significantly increase the tariffs that India pays to the United States.
Trump’s display of concern for Ukrainians comes while dozens of Palestinians are killed or wounded daily by Israeli forces in their homeland.
This contrasts with Trump’s recent claim-contradicting all documented and credible media reports-that Israeli actions cannot be considered genocide against Palestinians; a position that has even drawn criticism from U.S. European allies.
