According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen,israeli regime media welcomed Prime Minister Nawaf Salam’s government decision against the resistance’s arms.
Channel 14 of Israeli television described Lebanon’s government’s move toward disarming the resistance as a dramatic turning point. The report stated that this decision opens the path for normalizing relations with Lebanon in the near future.
The Israeli outlet Maariv also reported that Lebanon is undergoing dramatic changes. It noted that any future regional partnership with Lebanon must be contingent upon strict security oversight and Hezbollah’s disarmament.
It is worth noting that Nawaf Salam’s government is acting in line with U.S. demands aimed at disarming the resistance.
