The UK, Denmark, France, ⁤Greece, and Slovenia have also officially requested an emergency Security Council session to debate Israel’s proposed occupation of the Gaza Strip.

This backing for a council meeting comes amid ⁣growing international efforts to⁢ respond to escalating tensions caused by Israel.
