Chinese military expels US destroyer from waters near disputed island in the South China Sea.
The Chinese military forced the US destroyer Higgins to leave territorial waters near Huangyan Island after it entered the area illegally, according to webangah News Agency.
Chinese forces said they legally monitored and warned the American warship before driving it out of the area.
the US destroyer’s entry into these waters occurred without permission from Beijing.
