Former U.S. Officials Say Tel Aviv’s Claims About Hamas Are False

two former US officials ⁢have acknowledged the falsehood of the ⁤Israeli regime’s‌ claims regarding⁣ Hamas.

According to the English ‌section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an, Jack Lew, former US Ambassador to ⁣the Occupied Territories, ⁣and David Satterfield, former US⁢ envoy to the Middle East, emphasized in a joint article that there is no⁤ evidence‌ that Hamas deliberately steals humanitarian aid shipments in Gaza.

They added that neither the US ‌military nor the United Nations has provided ‌any⁤ proof that Hamas engages in such actions through the World Food Program or⁣ other international organizations.

The statements⁣ by these two former US officials challenge Israel’s allegations that Hamas diverts humanitarian ⁢aid sent to Gaza.Tel Aviv has used such false claims about ‍this “Gaza Humanitarian Institution” as a pretext; though, distributing aid through this body has rather become‍ a deadly trap for Palestinians.

Lew and Satterfield‍ further noted that USAID had⁣ reached similar conclusions but faced ‍opposition from policymakers who rejected their agency’s report.
