The European Commission announced on Sunday that the European leaders attending the Ukraine Allies Conference reaffirmed their unity in supporting kyiv to achieve a just adn lasting peace, according to webangah News Agency.
The statement added that the conference stressed the need for a ceasefire and a firm commitment to continue full pressure on Russia through sanctions. The conference confirmed that kyiv must have the sovereignty to decide over its own territory.
Europe remains one of the main obstacles to reaching any agreement related to the conflicts in Ukraine.
It is worth noting that former U.S.President Donald Trump previously announced he would meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the white House tomorrow, Monday, to discuss an agreement aimed at ending the war between Moscow and Kyiv.
Leaders of the “Enthusiasts Coalition,” comprising Britain, France, and Germany, are also expected to attend this meeting.
