Israeli Foreign Minister Calls for Closure of French Consulate in Occupied Jerusalem.
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an, reported that Gideon Sa’ar, the foreign minister of the israeli regime, has urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet to take action to close the French consulate in occupied Jerusalem.
Sa’ar made this request in response to France’s stance on recognizing the State of Palestine.
The Israeli news site Yisrael Hayom reported that an official order to shut down the French consulate in occupied Jerusalem is expected soon.
This issue was discussed at yesterday’s meeting of the Israeli cabinet.
