Amnesty International: Israel Implements Deliberate Starvation Policy

Amnesty International has stated that the Israeli regime is implementing a deliberate policy of starvation against Palestinians in⁢ the Gaza Strip.

according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News⁣ Agency, Amnesty ⁤International released⁣ a statement on the latest developments in Gaza, revealing new evidence that clearly shows Israel’s ‍starvation‌ policy against Palestinians⁢ in Gaza is intentional.

The⁣ statement added that through this policy of ⁢starving, the Israeli regime systematically destroys both ‍the health and social fabric of Palestinian society.

The report emphasizes that testimonies about hunger in Gaza are an explicit condemnation of an international system that has granted Israel near-total impunity for decades.

Amnesty concluded by demanding an immediate and unconditional lifting⁤ of the blockade on Gaza and called⁢ for a permanent ceasefire ⁤to be established.

Under international charters, deliberate starvation ⁣of a population during ‌wartime constitutes ⁣a war crime. While⁣ Amnesty revealed and confirmed news⁢ about this policy’s implementation,‌ it refrained from officially recognizing it ⁢as a war crime due to pressure from Zionist lobby groups.

The ⁣Palestinian government media office ‌in Gaza also warned about the dire humanitarian conditions, stating: more than 40,000 infants under one year are suffering from severe ⁤malnutrition with ‍their lives gradually at risk.

The Gazan government’s statement emphasized that over 100,000 children and patients⁢ endure severe food shortages, signaling alarm over an impending broad humanitarian disaster. The Israeli occupiers continue to‍ block essential items from entering Gaza-including infant formula, nutritional ‍supplements, frozen meat, vegetables, and hundreds of ⁢other vital ‍goods.
