According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, the walla website reported based on Israeli sources that surrounding Gaza city requires 80,000 Israeli soldiers.

Thes sources added that 5,000 Israeli women were deployed in combat roles last year due to a shortage of manpower within the Israeli army.
