According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, sources have reported that Hamas has given the green light to the mediators’ proposal.
A source within the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) told Al Jazeera: “We have communicated our agreement with the proposal presented yesterday to the mediating parties.”
Other sources informed Al Arabiya TV that after consultations with Palestinian groups, Hamas confirmed its acceptance of this plan.
Separately, some sources speaking to the Palestinian news agency wafa stated that Hamas and Palestinian factions fully accepted Egypt and QatarS ceasefire proposal without any modifications.
A senior Palestinian official also told Al Mayadeen that Hamas and armed resistance groups agreed to the Egyptian-Qatari mediation offer.
Simultaneously occurring, a Sky News correspondent reported that Israel has stated it has not yet received a response from Hamas regarding the ceasefire proposal.
Earlier, Al Arabiya had quoted its own sources saying Hamas had received a ceasefire offer from Egypt and Qatar.
