«Young Pioneers of BRICS and Shanghai» Award Goes to Representatives from 9 Countries

The third edition of ‍the “BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Young ⁤Pioneers Award” was held in Kazan, honoring representatives from nine countries,⁤ including Iran, across five different ‍categories.

The third BRICS and SCO ‍Young Pioneers Award ceremony took place in Kazan with representatives⁢ from nine​ countries participating. This year, ten individuals were recognized across five categories: Research and Innovation⁤ of the Year, Social initiative of the Year, Public Diplomacy Initiative of the Year, Environmental Initiative of the Year, and Young Media Figure of the ⁣Year.

From Iran, Reza Ghavami-pour, ⁣founder of ‍the innovative educational platform “Garnet ⁢Academy,” received the ⁣Social Initiative of the‍ Year award.⁣ Utilizing artificial intelligence, this platform evaluates users’ strengths individually and offers personalized⁣ training programs designed to guide learners toward entrepreneurship and income generation. To date,over 60,000 people have completed Garnet’s⁢ courses,with more than 10,000‌ attending its free lectures and workshops.The large-scale event “Artificial Intelligence and Enduring Business,”⁣ held on July 17th at ‌Tehran University with over a thousand participants, has considerably expanded Garnet’s international reach.

Among other winners ​was Wu Chao from China‌ who received ⁢the Environmental Initiative of the Year award. On his second visit to Kazan,he told BRICS ⁤TV: “The people of Russia had⁢ the greatest impact on ‍me. I ‌felt comfortable here and was welcomed with hospitality. Kazan is a ⁢beautiful city​ that offers many opportunities ​for‍ young pioneers worldwide.”

Kritikumar Ramchandani from India, an AI and cybersecurity expert, won in the Research and Innovation category. He said: “One‍ of BRICS Award’s best features is that connections are formed​ first before discussing projects.my dialog ⁣especially with Russia and China has strengthened since Russians are very receptive to new ‍initiatives.”

Additionally, Madinakhon Toshmetova from Uzbekistan ⁣earned recognition for her project “Smart Backpack” designed for children with‍ visual impairments. The backpack features obstacle warning ⁢signals, a fall sensor, and a solar panel for sustainable power ⁣supply.

The ceremony was supported by Tatarstan’s Ministry of Youth Affairs, SCO’s ‍National Public diplomacy Center as well as Russia-BRICS Youth Cooperation Office.

BRICS TV ⁤served as an official media partner for this event.

This initiative forms part⁣ of Russia’s Federal Agency for Youth Affairs national program​ “Youth and ⁣Children” under its regional youth⁣ project framework.
