According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Nashra, news sources reported that ISIS militants attacked Jolani forces in eastern Syria.
The sources stated that ISIS militants targeted the Jolani forces’ headquarters in Al-Mayadin city, located in Deir ez-Zor province, eastern Syria.
SANA reported a suicide bombing carried out by ISIS, stating that the Jolani forces killed one militant while another detonated himself.
The Syrian media outlet also confirmed the death of one Jolani force member during the ISIS suicide attack.
No further details have been released.
