Media reports indicate rising tensions along the shared border between North and South Korea.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, South Korea has reported firing warning shots in border areas after North Korean soldiers crossed into its territory.
North Korea responded by describing south Korea’s military action as a deliberate provocative move.
Earlier, Kim yo-jong, deputy department director of the ruling party’s Central Committee and sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, sarcastically stated that Pyongyang will never consider Seoul a partner for diplomacy.
