Moscow announced that Russian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers Sergei Lavrov and Jeyhun Bayramov discussed their assessments of the intergovernmental commission meeting held yesterday in Astrakhan.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Sputnik, the foreign ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan held a phone call today, Saturday, to consult with each other.
Sputnik reported that their discussion focused on recent developments in the South Caucasus region.
The russian Foreign ministry stated: “Sergei Lavrov and Jeyhun Bayramov exchanged views on their assessments of the intergovernmental commission meeting held yesterday in Astrakhan, Russia.”
