The Israeli Minister of Defense explicitly stated that the regime will not withdraw from Syria’s Golan Heights.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an, while media reports indicate ongoing negotiations between Damascus and Tel Aviv-with U.S. mediation-for signing a security agreement, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced today that the occupying forces will remain in Syria’s Golan Heights.
Katz justified Israel’s occupation by claiming that Israeli troops must stay in the area to secure the occupied Syrian Golan Heights and Galilee.
Currently, the Israeli military is deployed across nine locations inside Syrian territory.
Simultaneously occurring, Tel Aviv is preparing to establish new military bases within Syria.
