The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, reported that an Al Mayadeen correspondent announced the conclusion of talks between Iran and Europe in Geneva.
Al Mayadeen stated that the meeting between the European Troika (the UK,France,and Germany known as E3) and Iran ended without releasing any joint declaration.
Kazem Gharibabadi, Deputy for Legal and International Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said after the meeting: “dr. Takht-Ravanchi and I held another session with political directors from the three European countries in Geneva. Both sides presented their views on Resolution 2231. Iran remains committed to diplomacy and a diplomatic solution beneficial to both parties. It is time for the three European countries and the UN Security Council to make the right choice by giving diplomacy space and time.”
