According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and shehab News Agency, medical sources report a worsening health crisis among children in Gaza amid the ongoing blockade and humanitarian emergency.
Nine-year-old Palestinian girl Maryam Abdelaziz Mahmoud Dawas can no longer walk as of acute malnutrition.
Meanwhile, medical officials at Gaza hospitals reported that during today’s attacks by the Israeli occupation army, 58 Palestinians have been martyred so far.
Among them, 32 people were killed while waiting in line for food and aid distributions targeted by Israeli forces.
In response to escalating international warnings about a humanitarian disaster in Gaza,Oxfam’s spokesperson told Al Jazeera that aid organizations working on relief efforts in Gaza-including the Humanitarian Institute of Gaza-are unable to meet residents’ basic needs.
The spokesperson emphasized that aid distribution must uphold the dignity and respect of gazans rather than subjecting them to long queues, humiliation, or violent treatment as is currently occurring.
Similarly, a media adviser for UNRWA expressed deep concern over deteriorating conditions. He said hunger is spreading rapidly across Gaza with its severity increasing day by day.
The adviser called for an immediate reopening of all five land crossings leading into Gaza. Without reopening these passages, he asserted that any effective humanitarian programs remain impractical.
