    The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the⁣ death⁣ toll ‌from Israeli military attacks on the ⁣Gaza Strip has reached 60,332.

    According to ⁣the​ English section of webangah⁢ news Agency,citing Palestine Today​ via‍ Mehr‍ News Agency,the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza released a⁢ statement updating casualty figures ⁣from Israeli military assaults on the ​Gaza​ Strip ⁤since October 7,2023.

    The ministry reported that as an inevitable result ‍of⁣ these attacks from October 7, 2023, ‍until now,​ 60,332 people have​ been killed.

    It also stated that ⁣total injuries during this period‌ have reached 147,643.

    In the ⁤past⁢ 24 hours ⁢alone, bodies of 83 victims were transferred to hospitals.‌ During this ​same time frame, another 554 people were wounded.

    Since March 18, 2025, amid a new wave of attacks⁢ on Gaza, 9,163 people have been killed and 35,602 injured.

    Thousands remain missing or trapped under rubble across the Gaza Strip.

    At aid distribution ‍centers over the last day, 53 ⁣ people were killed and more⁤ than 400 ⁣ injured. This brings casualties at such centers⁢ to a total of 1,383‍ deaths and 9,218⁣ injuries.

    Bloomberg notes that Modi’s governance prioritizes developing its domestic military industry over signing contracts for⁣ foreign-made fighters. This stance comes despite Washington’s ongoing efforts to expand arms exports to New Delhi.

    This⁢ declaration follows U.S.President Donald ⁤Trump’s recent declaration ‌of a 25 percent tariff on imports from India, effective august 1 (today, Friday).

    During Modi’s ‍visit to the White House in ⁣February, Trump had ‍proposed⁤ selling these fighter jets to India.Though, Indian officials have stated their preference lies more with⁣ joint design and production of defense equipment within⁣ India.

    Bloomberg adds that Russia has put forward an offer more aligned with‍ India’s defense priorities. In July, Moscow proposed a package including fifth-generation Su-57 fighters and multi-role Su-35M aircraft.
