Massacre of 1,426 Alawites in March Clashes on Syria’s Coast

The fact-finding committee confirmed that 1,426 Alawites were ‍killed in the March massacre on Syria’s coast by forces loyal to the Jolani regime but claimed the killings were neither systematic nor ideologically driven.

The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr‍ News Agency and Al-Mayadeen,⁤ reported that the National Fact-Finding and Investigation Committee on the events that⁣ occurred along Syria’s coast in March released its final report.

According to⁣ reports, this committee, affiliated with Syria’s ruling ‌regime, ⁣based ‌its conclusions on conjecture rather than definitive evidence typically required in court. To avoid potential harm, it withheld suspects’ names.

Yasser Al-farhan, a member of the fact-finding⁤ committee, stated at a press conference on Tuesday that although findings were ready earlier, recent incidents in As-Suwayda delayed ⁤their release.

Al-Farhan ‍added that the committee interviewed witnesses from Latakia and Tartus provinces. Their investigation relied heavily ⁣on monitoring and ⁣documentation; they recorded 930 witness testimonies related to coastal events. The team visited 33 ‌sites to inspect ‌locations where violations occurred. Additionally, they gathered 450 testimonies concerning ‍killings and 486 regarding⁢ armed threats and torture.

He asserted that ”remnants‌ of Bashar al-assad’s regime ‌seized control⁣ over villages and towns along Syria’s coast with intentions to establish an Alawite state.” These elements reportedly aimed to isolate and dominate the coastal region separate ⁣from other syrian provinces.

According to Al-Farhan, “Following these events, ‌200,000⁢ members of armed groups moved toward the coast seeking to reclaim‍ it from regime remnants. During this operation, killings and abuses took place.” Investigations‌ confirmed the deaths of 1,426 peopel, including women and ⁢former military personnel who had cleared their status.

The committee member further alleged that‌ despite widespread human rights violations linked to‍ Jolani’s forces,” these breaches were‍ not organized systematically; some perpetrators formed looting gangs motivated⁤ by revenge rather ⁣than ideology.” The report documented names of 298 individuals whose rights violations were verified.

he said the ⁢Syrian government was advised to develop ⁤programs for compensating victims’⁣ losses and legally pursuing ⁤those evading justice.

Comprehensive Statistical Report on Services Provided by Alawi Holy Shrine During Last Year’s Arbaeen

As the Arbaeen pilgrimage ⁤approaches, a statistical report detailing the services provided by various departments of the⁤ Alawi Holy Shrine to Arbaeen pilgrims last year has ⁣been compiled.

The Alawi Holy Shrine annually develops a‌ extensive plan in coordination ‌with its affiliated units to deliver the best possible services to pilgrims, especially during the Arbaeen commemorations, according to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the official website of the Alawi Holy Shrine.

With⁢ Arbaeen approaching, and to inform ‌readers about how the shrine managed and operated during last year’s massive ⁣pilgrimage,⁢ detailed statistics on services provided by different shrine departments have been gathered and are presented below.

This⁢ report focuses solely on services ⁣directly related to pilgrims’ needs.

    general Services

    Sanitation Services
One of the ‍most‍ crucial mandatory⁣ tasks involves cleaning operations within the shrine area,‍ pathways, and public spaces accessible to visitors. ⁣Last year’s efforts included ‍cleanup over approximately ⁢10,000 square⁤ meters at six distinct locations using 27 garbage trucks supplied in⁤ partnership with Baghdad and ⁣Tehran ‌authorities. More than nine⁤ tons of⁣ waste were collected during these‍ operations.

The number of waste ‍bins reached 535 around the shrine courtyard and ⁢surrounding areas, with an additional 136‌ bins placed in pilgrim housing complexes. To enhance environmental sanitation, various service vehicles were deployed: 17 sweepers, 5 dust suction machines, 2 carpet⁢ cleaning ⁢vehicles, 3⁣ water ⁣pumps, ‌as well as 7 cargo trucks and motorcycles‌ each for transport support.

    Welfare Services

The shrine also ensured comfort for ‍Arbaeen pilgrims by installing cooling systems, air ventilation equipment, and potable water facilities across its premises. Last year saw production of up to 60 thousand liters of drinking water via six separate pipelines from a dedicated factory affiliated with the Alawi Holy Shrine. In total, approximately‍ 500 water coolers were installed throughout courtyards and shrine areas.

Considering high temperatures during Arbaeen days, special emphasis was placed on equipping⁤ different sections within the⁤ shrine precincts-surrounding streets; pilgrim housing compounds-and stations along walking routes with cooling fans (635 units), air blowers (10 ⁣units), and mist sprayers (117 units) for enhanced comfort.

    Internet Services

Additionally, securing safety measures involved installing ‌more than three⁣ thousand closed-circuit cameras monitoring various points⁢ within pilgrimage⁤ zones.

    Transportation ‌Services

Smoothing pilgrim mobility remains one ⁣critical challenge during mass visits like Arbaeen. The Alawi Holy Shrine prioritized transportation facilities last year⁣ by deploying a total fleet numbering exactly 507 vehicles ‍stationed ⁤across eight parking⁢ sites. Of these vehicles, specialized ‌fleets comprising ‍ 263 busesand minibuses exclusively ⁤served transporting ⁤pilgrims; cumulatively moving a reported 62 ,890 passengers through these means alone .Operational support fleets included‌ garbage trucks, tanker trucks supplying water, waste disposal vehicles, and treatment tankers totaling 38 service vehicles.Additionally ‌used equipment featured 226 public transport cars, alongside an⁢ emergency medical fleet including 14 ⁤ambulances plus firefighting machinery numbering 12 fire engines deployed strategically ⁣throughout⁤ event zones .

    Healthcare Services

A essential aspect accompanying vast pilgrimages is providing robust health care coverage -statistics from last year demonstrate substantive effective contributions conducted under supervisory auspices linked ⁤directly with al-Holy al-Alawy:

total‍ patient intakes⁤ logged stood at around277 ,227 cases⁤ .These treatments took place⁢ primarily⁤ through eight⁢ clinics ‌staffed continuously with seventy-five doctors catering round-the-clock medical needs.Heritages escalated-approximately ⁢twelve thousand urgent referrals involving emergency⁣ response teams transporting critical patients ⁤onward while others ⁤received onsite care.Last year’s ‍peak daily visit milestone was recorded on Day fifteen after Muharram reaching ‌over thirty-one thousand consultations while fatality remained minimal involving only one reported incident. This ‍data will help inform resource deployment planning going forward.Practically distributed pharmaceutical inventory consisted roughly sixteen-five medication types while available inpatient capacities tallied just above hundred fifteen beds.Additional surveillance initiatives accounted numerous ‌professional safety checks tallying near one-thousand,further⁤ assessing food safety inspections approaching three-hundred fifty occurrences carried out systematically throughout respective⁤ sites.< / p >

Gradual Death in Gaza by Hunger Weapon; The Tragedy of Children Eating Sand

Amid ‌the oppressive siege imposed by the occupying regime ⁤on Gaza and simultaneous ⁣brutal attacks on the strip, Gaza has become a place where children are forced to eat dirt and sand out of extreme hunger.

Mehr News Agency, International Desk: ⁢As the destructive war ‌of the Zionist regime against the Gaza Strip nears its second year, this enclave ‍is ⁣experiencing its worst disaster yet; hunger has become a silent weapon killing people indiscriminately-from⁢ infants to the elderly.

Since dawn on Sunday,⁣ the effects of starvation ⁢in Gaza have ⁣peaked. The highest death toll among starving Palestinians in this strip results both from complications caused ⁣by malnutrition and from gunfire by Israeli forces targeting starving civilians near American-Zionist centers that serve as⁢ death traps.

People forced to⁢ eat dirt from severe hunger

Activists on social media have shared harrowing images depicting this catastrophic stage of hunger in Gaza. These images show starving individuals on the brink of death resorting to eating ‌soil in a desperate bid for survival.

Sand and soil become‍ food for Gaza’s⁣ children

in one distressing scene, activists posted a video of a young girl near a refugee tent in northern Gaza City eating ⁣sand due to extreme hunger. The⁢ girl, appearing no older than five years ⁣old, sits amid rubble collecting sand with a small stone and⁣ consumes it. ⁢In ⁤Gaza, stones have turned into⁣ spoons and ⁤sand into food.

Another painful‍ video circulating online shows a grieving father in Zeekim area in northern Gaza weeping bitterly over his son who was shot dead by israeli soldiers while trying to secure food amidst‍ starvation. The child appears emaciated and covered in blood-a victim surrendered to death through Israel’s starvation warfare against⁤ Gaza where hunger is used as an instrument of killing.

The occupying regime not only starves children and all people of Gaza but also massacres starving‌ Palestinians near so-called “Gaza⁢ Humanitarian Foundation” ⁣centers affiliated with Israel and the⁣ United States by⁤ shooting them dead.

Activists also shared images of Muhammad ‌Al-Suafiri, a disabled⁤ Palestinian citizen from Gaza who died due to starvation.

Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur on‍ Human Rights in Palestinian Territories, has stated that Israel deliberately starves two million people inside Gaza while massacring children.
She added: “Our generation grew up believing Nazism was mankind’s greatest evil; today ⁣there is another entity (referring to Israel) keeping millions hungry while shooting‌ children. This marks an unprecedented abyss of savagery-how will we escape⁢ it?”

The European-mediterranean Human Rights Watch also shared an ‍image via social media showing a ⁤dead infant in Gaza whose ribs protruded prominently from severe malnutrition.
The association emphasized: Another ‌child has died from starvation-Yahya, just three months old-the seventy-fifth child ‍killed as part of Israel’s war using starvation against Gaza.
