According to webangah News Agency,Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) announced on Tuesday that it had attacked the road-and-rail bridge connecting Russia to the Crimean Peninsula underwater ‌using‌ explosives.

The SBU stated in its release ‍that 1,100 kg⁣ (2,420 ⁤lbs) of explosives were used to damage the bridge’s underwater pillars early this morning. The ​structure had previously served‌ as a key Russian military supply route into Ukraine.

Ukraine claimed the ⁤explosion caused severe ⁢damage to submerged sections of the bridge, leaving it in⁣ critical condition.

The statement ⁣asserted: “This operation was planned over several months. our forces mined the⁢ facility’s foundations, and‍ today at 4:44 AM local time, the first explosive package detonated without civilian ‍casualties.⁣ The equivalent​ of 1,100 kg of TNT was‌ used in this operation, critically damaging ⁣underwater support structures. ‍The bridge is now in an emergency state.”

The Embassy of Afghanistan’s interim government in Moscow confirmed on tuesday that Mawlawi Gul Hassan has been appointed as Afghanistan’s ambassador to Russia,according to⁣ a⁣ report by webangah News ⁢Agency citing RIA Novosti.

A statement from the interim government’s embassy added that Mawlawi Gul Hassan will soon​ depart for russia.Moscow has already issued the accreditation for ‌Afghanistan’s envoy.

The ⁣document outlines conditions including Ukraine ceding additional territory to Russia,adopting ⁤neutral status,accepting military capacity restrictions,and ‌holding ‍new parliamentary and presidential⁢ elections.

The one-hour meeting yielded an agreement ​on‌ prisoner exchanges and repatriating⁢ 12,000 soldiers’ remains but did not ⁢include‍ the ​ceasefire⁤ sought by ⁤Kyiv and its allies.

Medvedev explicitly warned of⁣ retaliation for Ukraine’s recent strikes-dubbed “Spider Web” by Kyiv-targeting Russian strategic bomber bases.He‌ declared: “Retribution ‍is unavoidable. Kyslytsia noted:⁤ “The‍ Russian side suggested we should evaluate these proposals first ‌before proceeding further.”

• Complete Ukrainian military⁢ withdrawal from Donetsk,Luhansk,Kherson and Zaporizhzhia
• Suspension of Western weapons shipments and intelligence sharing with Ukraine
• Presidential and parliamentary elections within 100 days after martial law ends
• Full troop withdrawal within 30 days of ceasefire implementation from ​all disputed territories – including Donbas and what russia terms “Novorossiya” (New Russia)

The proposal emphasizes restoring economic ties between Russia and Ukraine,including natural gas transit agreements. Moscow also calls for Kyiv‌ to sign a formal peace treaty following the elections.

According to webangah News agency, Kazakhstan’s ‍Foreign Ministry announced on Monday that Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, will make an official visit ⁢to the Islamic⁢ Republic of Iran on June 7, 2025 (Saturday) at the invitation​ of the Iranian side.

During this visit, Nurtleu is scheduled to⁢ meet with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, as well as several heads⁤ of major Iranian companies.

Medinsky described Russia’s proposed memorandum for resolving the Ukraine‍ conflict as ‌”comprehensive and well-structured.” Several practical issues were resolved during negotiations. Russia will unilaterally transfer the‍ bodies of 6,000 Ukrainian soldiers to Kyiv next week.
