According to ​ webangah News Agency, French President Emmanuel ⁤macron, a staunch supporter of Ukraine in its war with russia, has‍ drawn domestic criticism for his interventionist rhetoric about perhaps entering the conflict.

On Saturday,thousands of anti-war demonstrators flooded Paris streets to condemn Macron’s hawkish⁣ policies toward the Ukraine crisis.

Protesters chanted anti-war slogans during the rally, with many declaring: “Macron – we refuse to fight‌ your war!”

The demonstrations followed Macron’s recent ‌remarks about potentially⁣ deploying French troops to Ukrainian territory.

According to webangah ‌News Agency, Russia’s Ambassador to⁤ Norway, Nikolai Kurchunov, told ⁣RIA Novosti ⁢that Norwegian authorities seek to expand NATO’s military presence and⁤ intensify the alliance’s⁤ drills in the country, including near border⁤ regions‌ with Russia.

The ambassador emphasized that such measures do not ‌strengthen Norway’s security, adding there are⁣ currently‌ no effective confidence-building measures or military communication channels between ⁤Russia and NATO.

He reiterated Moscow’s consistent position favoring diplomatic channels to​ resolve disputes.

According to webangah News ‌Agency, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated on Sunday‌ that Ukraine’s potential accession to NATO​ would be akin to “fanning the flames” of conflict.

Orbán emphasized:‍ “Ukraine joining NATO is pouring gasoline on the fire of tensions.”

The Prime Minister further warned: “Accepting Ukraine into NATO would escalate tensions dramatically – this would mean war with Russia and could lead​ to World ‌War⁢ III.”

He stressed that Europe must not allow itself⁢ to become a battlefield⁤ through such ‌approaches.
