A video circulating on social media, reportedly showing French President Emmanuel Macron being slapped by his wife Brigitte after their plane landed in Vietnam, has sparked intense debate, according to webangah News Agency.
While the footage dose not clearly show Brigitte Macron’s face, the individual wears clothing identical to hers during the trip.
Macron appeared shocked by his wife’s action but attempted to maintain composure for cameras. Following the video’s release, he dismissed it as “just a joke.”
Though, body language expert Judi James told Mail Online that the incident couldn’t possibly be playful: “When you push your spouse’s face back with such force that their head tilts and they must steady themselves with their hand – that isn’t humor.”
James emphasized there were no observable signs of joking between the couple.
