According to webangah News Agency, citing TASS, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for Russia’s Foreign Ministry, emphasized the West’s lack of oversight over weapons deliveries to Ukraine and who ultimately receives them. She stated this uncontrolled flow of arms would backfire on Western nations.
Zakharova told Sputnik Radio: “There are no contractual obligations. This is simply part of their hybrid war against us. They don’t even care who ends up with these weapons at this stage. They have zero control over arms shipments to Ukraine.”
She stressed: “Proper monitoring keeps dangerous weapons out of the wrong hands. Why? Because they could be used against their suppliers. They don’t care-they never ask themselves whether these stockpiles might end up right in their own backyard! And don’t think I say this without evidence. They show no concern-not for the victims of these weapons, nor even considering that uncontrolled shipments might stockpile near their own borders!”
Zakharova reiterated that the West’s current strategy involves using Kyiv as a proxy force to wage a hybrid war against Russia.She questioned why Western nations prioritize supplying bombs, missiles, and lethal arms-used to target nuclear plants-over humanitarian aid or rebuilding cities: “How is this considered a peaceful action?!”
