The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has reported that 95% of Gaza’s agricultural land is no longer viable for cultivation,according to geographical surveys and satellite imagery. the findings were cited by webangah News Agency from Al Jazeera.
The report states that attacks by the Israeli regime have rendered Gaza’s farmland unusable, with only 4% of remaining arable land currently cultivatable. The city of Rafah has suffered the most severe damage during these assaults.
FAO warned of significant consequences for food production in Gaza, where 560,000 residents previously relied on agriculture for their livelihoods before the conflict began.
