    Turkish Foreign Minister to visit Russia

    Turkey’s Foreign Minister to visit Russia on May 26-27 at invitation of Russian counterpart.

    According to webangah News Agency, citing Turkey’s Anadolu Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will travel to‌ Russia on ⁣ May 26-27 following an invitation⁣ from his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov.

    Citing diplomatic sources, the report states Fidan is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, alongside ‌holding‌ talks with⁢ Lavrov during the visit.

    The agenda includes meetings with other ⁤senior Russian officials such as Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky and Defense Minister Andrey Belousov. Discussions will focus on bilateral relations, cooperation ⁢in ⁢trade, energy, and tourism sectors.

    The minister will reiterate Ankara’s readiness to⁢ mediate negotiations. The visit follows high-level consultations between both countries.

    Kosachyov Moscow to send draft peace memorandum to Ukraine

    Russia’s Deputy Federation Council Chairman announced: Moscow​ will send a draft peace memorandum to Ukraine in the coming days.

    Konstantin Kosachev, Vice Speaker of Russia’s Federation council, stated on Saturday during an interview with the Zvezda TV channel that Moscow will ‍deliver a draft memorandum ⁢on resolving the Ukraine conflict to Kyiv in the coming days. The remarks were reported by⁢ webangah News Agency.

    Kosachev emphasized that work on the agreement is ongoing and currently in⁣ its final stages. He added, “I expect Russia’s draft to be ‌submitted to the opposing side soon—this is the information I have.”

    The official noted, however, that public disclosure of details at this stage appears unlikely. “This‍ remains⁣ a negotiation process,” he said, “one regarded as highly complex and sensitive from multiple perspectives.”
