According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Shehab News Agency via Mehr News Agency, Izzat al-Rishq, a member of Hamas’s Political Bureau, vehemently denied and condemned recent allegations by U.S. President Donald Trump that Hamas has stolen humanitarian aid.
He added,”Trump does not tire of repeating Israeli lies and accusations, and we will never tire of rejecting and exposing them. These accusations are wholly baseless and lack any evidence. They absolve the perpetrator while criminalizing the victim.” Al-Rishq noted that these claims have previously been refuted by organizations such as the United Nations and were recently dismissed in an internal examination by the U.S. Agency for International Advancement (USAID). The investigation confirms ther is no report indicating any theft of aid by Hamas.
Al-Rishq stated: ”What we witness today in Gaza is a intentional policy of starvation and genocide-a direct consequence of U.S. support for the occupying regime. This regime has weaponized food and medicines against more than two million people in Gaza.”
The Hamas official called on the U.S. government to stop viewing matters through Israel’s outlook, assume its moral and legal responsibilities regarding crimes related to blockade and starvation, condemn Israel’s imposed siege warfare against our people in Gaza, halt all assistance or backing for these crimes, and support unimpeded safe access for all humanitarian aid without conditions to every resident.
He emphasized: “Humanitarian aid must reach all Gaza residents fully, safely, without conditions-and be distributed solely through United Nations channels-not through entities like the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation that have become traps leading to further suffering among starving vulnerable populations.”
