  • Iran Claims Victory in Fighter Jets and Missile Battle Despite Abrupt Halt

Iran Claims Victory in Fighter Jets and Missile Battle Despite Abrupt Halt

An Italian⁣ author and commentator has offered a ‌detailed analysis of the 12-day imposed war by the Zionist regime against Iran in his latest book, which won a prestigious literary festival award in Italy.

webangah News Agency, International Desk – The Premio Bancarella is a renowned literary ⁤festival in Italy held annually since 1953 in the town of Pontremoli. Its jury ⁢consists of self-reliant booksellers rather ⁢than‍ critics or academics, selecting winners based on popular appeal among readers.

This award originated from the tradition of itinerant booksellers in Lunigiana and is symbolized ⁢by a ceramic statue depicting a backpack-carrying bookseller. There are specialized editions such as Bancarellino (for young readers), Bancarella Sport, and Bancarella Cooking. Notable recipients⁢ have included⁣ acclaimed authors like Ernest hemingway, Umberto Eco, and Giorgio Falacci.

At this year’s festival,⁣ Alessandro Orsini introduced⁣ his newest book titled The Italian ⁤white house: Informational Corruption in a satellite State. The festival’s president conducted ‍an extensive interview with Orsini on July 25.

During the conversation,‌ Orsini addressed current issues and highlighted why⁤ Italian officials show deference to the United States-a central theme of his book.

He also shared perspectives on the conflict ⁤between Iran and Israel; ‌key excerpts follow:

The Conflict Between ⁢Iran and Israel

    Introduction:

In my new book,‍ I explore⁣ Western involvement in bombing campaigns abroad.⁢ I identified a recurring pattern divided into‌ three stages:

    • Stage One: Collective Excitement
    • stage Two: Disconnection from ‌Reality
    • Stage Three: Inversion of Reality (this cycle repeats⁣ continuously)

I discussed this ⁢pattern regarding russia’s war against Ukraine but have recently observed it again during the ‍Iran-Israel conflict.

    The Iran-Israel War:

The moment ⁤hostilities broke out between Iran and Israel, what I‍ call‍ “the fan syndrome” was triggered-a mass reaction similar to football fans chanting‍ “We are stronger!” Just as passionate sports supporters respond aggressively if their team’s strength is questioned.

The Italian media immediately declared that “Israel is far stronger⁢ than Iran.” This ignited collective excitement⁣ followed by detachment from⁣ facts then outright inversion of reality.

But actual facts were exactly opposite. This war-which⁣ I term “the missile-fighter ⁤conflict”-created conditions where Iran held overwhelming strategic ⁤superiority. Had it lasted beyond twelve days,Israel would have faltered and suffered defeat absent direct U.S intervention.

The United ‍States intervened on June 22; Israeli⁣ airstrikes began on June 13. Nine days later Washington ordered action against Iran because ⁣Israel was rapidly approaching defeat.

Israel maintains an exceptionally layered air defense system: Iron Dome for short-range rockets; David’s Sling for medium-range missiles; Arrow-3 for ballistic threats. In addition are two THAAD batteries, Patriot missile systems, plus‌ at least five U.S.-equipped Aegis destroyers positioned nearby. Yet despite this ⁣formidable network:

A Wall Street Journal report citing White house sources revealed that by‍ June 17 Israel had nearly depleted its⁢ stockpile of Arrow-3 missiles-critical for intercepting Iranian ballistic‍ rockets-and‌ sustained mounting damage internally.

The‌ article ‍further⁢ highlighted instances where Trump repeatedly strayed from main subjects ‌while speaking. For example, in a‌ cabinet meeting this ‍month, he spent 15 minutes discussing room decor. • Borrell: Europe’s Military Aid to Ukraine Has Essentially Stopped Due to One Country’s Opposition

Borrell: Europe’s Military Aid to Ukraine Has Essentially Stopped Due to One Country’s Opposition

Former ⁣EU foreign policy ⁤chief cites Hungary’s opposition as the reason for the halt in EU military aid‌ to Ukraine.

According to the ⁢english⁣ section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Interfax, Joseph Borrell, former European ⁢Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs, stated today that most EU countries support immediate military aid to ukraine funded by profits from frozen Russian assets.

Borrell made these remarks during a press conference after the Foreign⁢ Affairs Council meeting in Brussels. he emphasized that most member states feel compelled to approve all decisions concerning the new⁤ dedicated aid fund for ⁤Ukraine soon-especially those allowing use of revenues generated⁢ from seized Russian ⁢assets.

He added: “We cannot allow EU military ⁢support for Ukraine to be held hostage by a single country’s ‌decisions-particularly⁣ given ⁢the urgency of the situation. ukraine needs weapons now, not next year. We are currently experiencing ‍a prolonged delay caused by differing opinions among member states, especially one country (Hungary),blocking necessary consensus. ‌There was intense debate on this today. I hope this issue will be resolved at the next meeting.”

Borrell described this ⁢as one of “the most crucial matters and commitments⁢ we must ⁢fulfill.”

According to Russia Today ⁢news ‌agency,Borrell also noted that⁢ EU military assistance to Ukraine has effectively stopped. ⁣Some €6.6 billion‍ from the European Peace Facility funds have been frozen due to hungary’s objections.

This comes as Hungarian Prime Minister viktor Orbán has previously criticized Europe’s policies toward Russia, arguing that shaping policy around a “threat from Russia” is mistaken.

Orbán stated: “The assumption that Russians will come and occupy⁣ our territory is unrealistic, and ⁢our policymaking should not be based on such assumptions because unrealistic premises only lead to mistakes. Russia is currently not in a position to threaten Europe. ⁢Europe has more soldiers and stronger armies and enjoys backing from its main NATO ally-the United States. That is why Europeans-including Poland, Hungary, and Romania-have nothing to worry about.I do not believe these countries face any military ⁤threat.”
