According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Palestine Information Center, Rami Abu Zubaida, a regional military analyst, wrote in an article that the recent speech by Abu Ubaida, spokesperson for the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades-the armed wing of Hamas-featured precise military language and field confidence. It indicated improvements in resistance operations across multiple fronts.
He added that Abu ubaida spoke about a tactical evolution within the resistance. Drawing on battlefield experience, this advancement shows fighters have moved beyond repeating old methods through continuous operational renewal after what is now the longest conflict in Palestinian history.
Abu Zubaida highlighted advanced ambush activations and efforts to capture enemy soldiers. He emphasized that the resistance continues to carry out complex operations along enemy frontline positions,wiht tunnels or their substitutes still playing a prominent role on today’s battlefield.
The analysis further noted that al-Qassam adopts a strategy described as “special and unprecedented battle,” aiming at continually wearing down occupying forces through combined operations including anti-personnel and anti-armor bombs, sniper attacks, and ambush tactics. The prospect of prisoner capture remains firmly on the table.
Abu Zubaida characterized Gaza’s resistance as a modern school for contemporary warfare.He explained that Gaza has become a living laboratory for developing asymmetric warfare methods-tactics now also utilized by other resistance movements.
He also pointed out that Abu Ubaida’s rejection of minor prisoner exchanges forms part of psychological warfare and deterrence tactics employed by the resistance. This stance reflects their confidence in battlefield superiority while signaling potential escalation if enemy stubbornness persists.
