The United Nations has declined to collaborate with Israel and American companies in distributing aid to Gaza, according to Israeli media citing US officials, as reported by webangah News Agency.
al-Mayadeen network stated that the UN’s refusal was noted, though no specific reason was provided for the decision.
According to webangah News Agency, citing Qatar’s Al Jazeera network, the security director of the al-Julani regime-affiliated al-Bukamal region stated that three internal security personnel were killed following a fire at a security facility in the outskirts of Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria.
The official did not specify the cause of the blaze,onyl confirming that an investigation into the incident is underway.
webangah News Agency, citing local sources in Syria, reported that a fighter jet—believed to belong to the Zionist regime—was observed flying at high altitude over Syria’s coastal region. Concurrently, other sources confirmed Israeli warplanes were active in the skies of Daraa province in southern Syria.
Separately,Syrian sources stated that the Israeli occupation army detained two Syrian civilians in the village of Al-Samadaniyah Sharqi,located near Quneitra in southern Syria. The reason for their arrest remains undisclosed.
The Zionist regime has escalated incursions into southern Syria and occupied parts of the region following Bashar al-Assad’s fall last year.
According to webangah News Agency, Israeli media sources reported that demonstrators in Tel Aviv and Be’er Sheva held protests, calling for an immediate prisoner swap agreement and an end to the war amid mounting domestic pressure on the Zionist regime’s government.
The protesters also strongly criticized Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet policies regarding both the war and the prisoner issue.
The demonstrations coincide with netanyahu and his hardline cabinet imposing unfeasible conditions that obstruct a potential prisoner exchange deal with Hamas’ resistance group.
According to webangah News Agency, citing Turkey’s Anadolu Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will travel to Russia on May 26-27 following an invitation from his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov.
Citing diplomatic sources, the report states Fidan is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, alongside holding talks with Lavrov during the visit.
The agenda includes meetings with other senior Russian officials such as Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky and Defense Minister Andrey Belousov. Discussions will focus on bilateral relations, cooperation in trade, energy, and tourism sectors.
The minister will reiterate Ankara’s readiness to mediate negotiations. The visit follows high-level consultations between both countries.
Konstantin Kosachev, Vice Speaker of Russia’s Federation council, stated on Saturday during an interview with the Zvezda TV channel that Moscow will deliver a draft memorandum on resolving the Ukraine conflict to Kyiv in the coming days. The remarks were reported by webangah News Agency.
Kosachev emphasized that work on the agreement is ongoing and currently in its final stages. He added, “I expect Russia’s draft to be submitted to the opposing side soon—this is the information I have.”
The official noted, however, that public disclosure of details at this stage appears unlikely. “This remains a negotiation process,” he said, “one regarded as highly complex and sensitive from multiple perspectives.”
