They⁣ also⁣ noted that Paris barred any public or press statements from Abdallah ⁢prior to his deportation.

Field reports indicate ‍george abdallah is expected to be ‍freed within hours.

The George ⁢Abdallah Freedom campaign called for ⁣broad participation in welcoming ceremonies‍ upon his return.

Lawyer Fida Abdel Fattah stated the change⁢ in release date-from Saturday moved forward-was intended ⁤to ‌disrupt ⁤celebrations surrounding his arrival in Beirut.

Al ‌Mayadeen⁤ published images showing Abdallah ⁤being transferred from Lannemezan Prison toward Paris. Previously, Abdallah praised the growing mobilization among ⁢supporters as a major ⁤factor behind France’s Ministry ⁣of Justice approving his ‌release.

    Who Is George Abdallah?

George Abdallah ⁣ranks among Europe’s⁢ longest-held political prisoners. In‌ 1999, according to French penal law provisions, he met criteria for ⁣release conditions; however,‍ parole was⁢ not granted ‌until 2003 when the⁢ court approved it but‌ was afterward ‍delayed due to appeals by France’s Attorney General. By‌ 2013 an eighth ‍parole application succeeded conditioned on leaving french territory but this ruling faced immediate appeals suspending enforcement.

according‌ to the English section of webangah ‍News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, many Western officials have strongly condemned Israel’s ongoing blockade and ⁤atrocities in Gaza. They are calling for an ⁤immediate ⁣end to the siege and what they ‍describe as a⁢ genocide in the⁣ Gaza Strip.

In this context, Sarah Jacobs, a Democratic member of the U.S. Congress, expressed deep outrage over the situation ⁣in Gaza. She sharply criticized the Israeli military’s obstruction of aid deliveries and dismissed the so-called ⁢”Gaza Humanitarian Institute” as a facade.

Jacobs demanded an immediate stop to U.S. bomb ⁢shipments ‍to Israel and called for ending the blockade of‍ Gaza without delay.

Alexandria‍ Ocasio-Cortez, another U.S. Congresswoman, also warned about the severe humanitarian crisis and urged an immediate halt to what she described as genocide in Gaza.

U.S. Congresswoman calls for stopping bomb shipments to Israel

She added that one out of every five children in ‍Gaza suffers ‌from forced starvation.

the chairperson of the UK⁢ Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee also spoke with Al Jazeera, demanding a halt to Israeli actions against Palestinians and calling for immediate facilitation of humanitarian aid deliveries. Meanwhile, Canada’s Prime Minister criticized Israel’s failure to prevent this humanitarian disaster. He called for full⁣ transfer of aid distribution management to humanitarian organizations and stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire alongside progress toward a two-state solution.

The Canadian Foreign Minister warned ‌that conditions in Gaza are worsening daily, with women and children suffering from extreme hunger.

Reactions to Paris’ Palestine Decision: From Canada’s Support to U.S. Anger

French President’s Decision to Recognize the State of Palestine Gains Support from Many Countries While Drawing Anger from the U.S.and Israel

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Youm al-Sabea, after French President Emmanuel‌ macron announced France’s intention to recognize the State of Palestine,‍ Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney also declared his contry’s plan to extend official recognition.

Carney stated that ⁤Canada supports a two-state solution that guarantees peace and⁣ security.

He‍ added that Ottawa would⁢ actively pursue this goal through all international bodies, including at upcoming United Nations foreign ministers’ meetings dedicated to this issue.

The Canadian prime minister also ‌condemned Israel’s government’s failure to prevent the rapid deterioration ⁣of humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Ireland’s foreign minister emphasized the urgent need for intensified international efforts toward ‌an immediate ceasefire in ⁢Gaza. He called for prisoner releases and eased access for humanitarian aid into the crisis-stricken region.

The⁣ Irish official welcomed France’s planned formal recognition of Palestine in September as an important step toward ‍achieving a two-state solution.

Spanish Prime ⁤Minister Pedro Sánchez likewise praised France’s ⁤decision. He stressed that this move aligns with Spain ‍and several other European countries in supporting a two-state framework.

Sánchez said: “We must ‌act ‌unitedly to preserve what Netanyahu ⁢strives to destroy. The two-state solution remains the only viable option to end this crisis.”

Concurrently, Bloomberg reported citing informed sources that several UK cabinet members-including health, justice, and culture ministers-have urged Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his‍ foreign secretary to initiate formal recognition of Palestine as soon as possible.

This ⁢comes amid sharp backlash from Israeli authorities and Washington against Macron’s decision. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned it‌ as “a reward for terrorism and Hamas,” warning it risks creating another Iranian-influenced stronghold⁤ similar to Gaza. He claimed that recognizing a Palestinian state ⁤under current conditions would not promote peace but rather serve as a platform aimed at Israel’s destruction.

Israeli Defence minister Israel Katz echoed these sentiments, calling France’s move “surrendering to terrorism” and rewarding Hamas. Katz vowed that Tel Aviv will never allow any Palestinian entity threatening Israel’s security or Jewish historical rights‌ in occupied territories.

The United States has openly opposed this decision as well. The U.S. State Department declared it would boycott next week’s meeting on a two-state resolution at the⁤ United Nations Assembly due to france’s announcement.

The U.S. Secretary of State described Macron’s action as reckless, arguing ⁣it only aids Hamas propaganda narratives while complicating prospects for peace negotiations.

Previously, Emmanuel Macron had announced Paris’ intention to⁤ officially recognize ⁢Palestine during UN General Assembly sessions scheduled for September this year.
