The brief evacuation time given by the officer was insufficient for residents to gather their belongings-many lost what little they had left after enduring relentless attacks.
In recent days, Israeli forces have intensified strikes on residential high-rises, clearly aiming for total destruction and further restricting Gaza’s civilians. most targeted buildings are purely residential,located in densely populated areas with no ties to military activities.
major Mahmoud Basal, head of Gaza’s Civil Defense, stated that Israeli forces have bombed approximately 100 multi-story residential buildings in a short period. These structures housed not only permanent residents but also displaced families seeking refuge after their homes were destroyed elsewhere.
Basal emphasized that Israel deliberately uses high-yield missiles and bombs, causing collateral damage to neighboring homes, infrastructure, and businesses. Thousands of Palestinian families are now homeless as Israel systematically demolishes apartments in heavy airstrikes.
