The Israeli cabinet led by Prime⁤ Minister ​Benjamin Netanyahu has ⁢approved Justice ⁣Minister Yariv Levin’s⁣ proposal to initiate the⁢ dismissal process of‍ the government’s legal advisor, according ⁤to Hebrew newspaper Israel ‌Hayom as reported by webangah News Agency.

Hebrew​ media​ reports indicate ​that⁢ following this decision, Levin invited cabinet ministers to​ convene ⁤a hearing for the legal advisor before formally beginning⁢ removal proceedings.

Israel’s⁤ Channel 12 reported that Gali Baharav-Miara, Netanyahu’s cabinet legal advisor, boycotted the voting session and called the⁣ cabinet’s decision-making process illegal.

Yair ​Golan, leader⁢ of Israel’s Democratic Party, responded: “This failing cabinet continues seeking scapegoats to cover up its⁣ failures. Netanyahu won’t succeed ⁢in removing the ​legal advisor – Baharav-Miara must ⁤continue​ defending the law.”

The prime minister⁣ has clashed⁤ with Baharav-Miara on multiple issues including dismissing and appointing new heads of Israel’s⁤ internal security service (Shin⁣ Bet).

The ‍Israeli‌ cabinet had ​previously ‌voted unanimously in late⁣ March 2023 during an absentee⁤ session ​to ⁣withdraw confidence from Baharav-Miara.

According to‍ webangah news Agency, Kuwait’s Civil Aviation Authority confirmed receiving ⁤reports of a bomb threat aboard an aircraft operated by Bahrain’s flag carrier, Gulf Air.

The authority stated the plane landed⁣ safely after completing all necessary security procedures.

According to webangah News Agency, Kuwait’s Ministry of Commerce has lifted its ban on importing all types of Iranian poultry meat and eggs through newly issued directives.

The Kuwaiti government removed restrictions on poultry and egg imports from Iran and select U.S. states while adding Brazil and the Czech Republic to its prohibition list.

In a Sunday announcement, ‍the ministry confirmed the removal of import bans on all forms of poultry-including fresh, chilled, frozen, processed products, derivatives-and eggs from Iran and certain U.S. states.

The ministry attributed this decision to the containment of ​highly pathogenic avian influenza outbreaks in these ‌regions.

Concurrently,Kuwait imposed new import bans on ⁢all poultry products from additional U.S. states, Brazil, and the Czech Republic⁤ due to resurgent outbreaks of avian flu in these areas.

According to webangah News Agency, Syrian ⁤media reported on Sunday the assassination of a former Iraqi leader of the terrorist group Hayat​ Tahrir ‍al-Sham on a​ street in Idlib, southern Syria.

The sources stated that two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened‍ fire on Abu Ayesha al-Iraqi, a former commander of Hayat Tahrir al-sham, in the town of Azmarin near Idlib.

The armed assailants heavily⁣ targeted⁣ al-Iraqi during the attack, killing him while he⁤ was visiting Idlib to​ meet a relative.

The⁤ Syrian Observatory for ⁣Human Rights confirmed that no group has claimed ⁣obligation for assassinating this former Hayat Tahrir⁣ al-Sham leader.

Abu Ayesha al-Iraqi ‍was an ISIS⁣ commander in 2014 before relocating to Syria and settling in ⁢Idlib by 2016. He later joined ​Hayat Tahrir al-sham before reportedly ceasing all militant activities.
