The report explored aspects of his political-divine testament, praising his life and struggles: “imam Khomeini remains the founder and symbol of a political and spiritual revolution that continues to this day-a revolution in a contry targeted more than ever by Anglo-American imperialism, heavily influenced by Israel’s warmongering and genocidal policies.”
The Italian cultural academy Cima italia also analyzed this historic document in its news section, describing it as both a political and spiritual testament before making it available to its audience.
Italian businessman and writer Raymond Schiavone authored an article titled “The Legacy of an Iconic Man: 36 Years After His Passing” on “Ora D’Amore”, delving into the character and ideology of Iran’s late revolutionary leader while publishing excerpts from Imam Khomeini’s will.
The writer emphasized that Imam Khomeini was not merely Iran’s revolutionary founder but marked a new chapter in history-one where Islam transformed from monastic tradition into a structural force. Many oppressed nations view it as liberation from Western cultural colonialism and corrupt regimes, though others associate it with extremism. Like all major past figures, interpretations vary.
Schiavone noted that Imam Khomeini’s later-life spiritual testament addressed not just Iranians but global audiences across generations-condemning capitalist oppression, Western democratic hypocrisy, and Zionist violence. His words remain painfully resonant yet imbued with spirituality few contemporary leaders could articulate.
Citing sections from Imam Khomeini’s will in closing, Schiavone wrote: “Today’s Iran faces renewed imperialist conspiracies-yet his voice still echoes: ’We fear no superpower; we fear only god.’” The article concluded: “Thirty-six years on, the West still fails to grasp his message. He remains an inspiration for oppressed peoples worldwide. let it be declared loudly: His shadow endures-steadfast.”
