According to the webangah News Agency, gaza’s Health Ministry stated that 41% of kidney patients in Gaza have died during the war due to the destruction of dialysis centers and Israeli restrictions on medical access.
The ministry reported that Israeli occupation forces completely destroyed the Nour al-Kabti dialysis center in northern Gaza, which specialized in treating kidney patients.
This facility was one of few remaining dialysis providers in northern Gaza, and its destruction has left kidney patients facing an unpredictable humanitarian catastrophe, officials warned.
The Health Ministry urgently called on the international community to fulfill its humanitarian obligations and prevent total collapse of Gaza’s healthcare system.
The Nour al-Kabti Hospital – the only facility providing life-saving dialysis services in northern Gaza – was completely demolished by Israeli forces. Located near Beit Lahia, it served dozens of patients from surrounding areas including Beit Hanoun, Jabalia, and Um al-Nasr village.
Prior to its complete destruction, repeated attacks had damaged most dialysis machines at the center, leaving only eight functional units.The facility is now entirely non-operational.
This attack follows Israel’s broader pattern of targeting Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure. Hospitals and clinics have faced repeated bombings and raids, leaving Palestinians with severely limited medical access.
Gaza health authorities warn that systemic collapse under blockade conditions – compounded by blocked humanitarian aid – has created an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
Munir al-Barsh, Director-General of Gaza’s Health Ministry released images showing Nour al-Kabti Hospital after its recent renovation. He noted it had treated over 160 patients since reopening before being destroyed again by Israeli strikes.
