Zionist regime will definitely receive a painful punishment

Imam Khamenei’s important message regarding the Israeli regime’s attacks against Iran.

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

To the great Iranian nation! The Zionist regime has committed a crime in our dear country today at dawn with its satanic, bloodstained hands. It has revealed its malicious nature even more than before by targeting residential areas. The [Zionist] regime should anticipate a severe punishment. By God’s grace, the powerful arm of the Islamic Republic’s Armed Forces won’t let them go unpunished. In the enemy’s attacks, several commanders and scientists have been martyred. God willing, their successors and colleagues will carry on with their duties without delay. With this crime, the Zionist regime has prepared for itself a bitter, painful fate, which it will definitely see.

  • Some parliaments in the world today support the murderers of Gaza

Some parliaments in the world today support the murderers of Gaza

Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met with the Speaker and members of the 12th term of the Islamic Consultative Assembly [Iranian Parliament] on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Leader extended his congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir, describing it as a truly significant day for the entire Islamic world, rich in profound concepts that lead to a deeper understanding of Islam. He also congratulated the attendees on the birth anniversary of Imam Hadi (pbuh).

Imam Khamenei highlighted the universally recognized legal stature of legislative bodies around the world, attributing their status to the profound significance of law itself. “The law is a fundamental condition for the existence of social life,” he stated, adding that, from a rational perspective, laws that are established by the collective intellect and a nation’s representatives possess greater credibility and value.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution drew a distinction between the legal status and the actual weight of parliaments globally asserting that their moral and practical significance varies widely. He noted that, “the true standing and credibility of a parliament rooted in religion, composed of virtuous and honest individuals, and committed to justice, supporting the oppressed, and standing up to bullies, is vastly different from that of a parliament made up of irresponsible individuals, whose work contributes to oppression, discrimination, social inequality, and support for criminals such as the killers of Gazans.”

Congratulating Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf on his re-election as Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Imam Khamenei outlined key principles for upholding the true dignity of the Majlis [Iranian Parliament]. He urged MPs to hold themselves accountable before both God and the law, prioritizing divine approval and the nation’s welfare while resisting conflicts of interest.

The Leader underscored the significance and influence of parliamentarians’ words, advising that speeches delivered from the parliamentary platform should inspire hope and foster reassurance. He further stressed that MPs’ statements must reflect rationality and commitment to the principles and ideals of the Islamic Revolution, serving as a testament to national resolve, strength, and determination.

Reflecting on Iran’s national character, Imam Khamenei praised the unparalleled resistance and candor of the Iranian nation in confronting the empty rhetoric and impositions of major global powers. He described the enthusiastic public participation in the annual commemoration of Imam Khomeini’s demise and the 22nd of Bahman rallies as clear indicators of the nation’s strength and determination. “This strength must be visible in the stances of MPs, in their endorsement or rejection of laws and individuals,” he said, noting that such qualities are already present in the Parliament to a large extent.

He emphasized the necessity of a Revolutionary approach in the Parliament as another essential factor for maintaining its distinguished status. “The Majlis is a Revolutionary parliament, but being Revolutionary is not merely about loud rhetoric. Be careful not to make mistakes in understanding what it means to be Revolutionary.”

Imam Khamenei defined Revolutionary conduct as steadfastly pursuing the ideals of the Revolution while preventing any deviation from them, showing courage, and clearly expressing beliefs in a “correct, non-insulting, and respectful” manner, and completely excluding personal motives and political preferences from professional duties. “The world is in God’s presence and it is with this perspective that we must seek divine satisfaction. We must firmly and courageously articulate the Revolution’s stances and pursue them in our decisions,” he added.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution described a unified, strong, and resolute response to irrational or accusatory remarks against the Islamic Republic as another duty of parliamentarians and a further example of Revolutionary conduct.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the 12th Parliament, highlighted the Strategic Action Law for Safeguarding National Interests and the Majlis’s support for the dignified positions of the country’s diplomatic apparatus during the Muscat negotiations. He stated, “‘Active participation of MPs in parliamentary diplomacy,’ ‘passage of the Capital Gains Tax Law,’ ‘approval of the general framework for the National Artificial Intelligence Plan,’ ‘reform of the law on parliamentary oversight,’ and ‘implementation of smart systems for budgeting and financial oversight’ have been part of the measures undertaken by the 12th Parliament.”

Western Nations Present Anti-Iran Resolution at Atomic Energy Agency

Western nations submit anti-iran resolution at IAEA.

According to ⁤ webangah News Agency, ⁤Western countries have tabled a resolution against Iran at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as ‍part of efforts to increase pressure ⁤on tehran.

diplomatic sources told AFP that European powers and the⁣ United⁤ States submitted the resolution to the IAEA Board of Governors, condemning Iran‌ for⁣ failing to comply with itS nuclear commitments.⁤ This marks the ‌latest move in a years-long effort to ⁢restrict Iran’s nuclear activities.

The diplomatic maneuver comes as U.S. and iranian officials have held several rounds of Omani-mediated ⁣talks ⁣aimed at‍ resolving⁢ outstanding disputes.

Three‍ diplomatic sources confirmed ⁤to AFP ‌on Tuesday evening that‌ the resolution text ⁢had been formally presented by ‍paris, Berlin, London, and Washington during⁣ an IAEA Board of Governors meeting in Vienna. A vote is⁤ expected by Wednesday afternoon ⁢at the latest.

The draft resolution obtained by AFP calls on Iran to instantly remedy its non-compliance with obligations under⁢ the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). ⁣It expresses “deep ‍regret” that‍ Tehran has failed to fully cooperate with the IAEA despite‌ repeated requests from the ⁤Board and multiple opportunities provided.

The agency’s inability to verify exclusively peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program raises questions falling under ⁤UN Security Council (UNSC) ⁢jurisdiction – which‌ could ‌impose sanctions against Tehran.

The resolution follows a late May ‍IAEA report documenting Tehran’s lack of cooperation, including failure to provide credible answers ‍about undeclared sites, alleged document thefts, and ⁢site sanitization. ‍The report also criticized insufficient Iranian ‍explanations ⁣regarding ⁤previously discovered nuclear materials at undeclared locations.

Grossi: Diplomatic Agreement Between Iran and U.S. Not Out of Reach

IAEA‍ Director General states he does not rule out a diplomatic solution to the nuclear issue between Iran and the U.S.

In an exclusive interview with The Jerusalem Post, Rafael⁣ Grossi, Director General‍ of the International Atomic Energy Agency ⁤(IAEA), said: “I see positive ⁣aspects in President Trump’s approach to ⁤engaging with ‌Iran-the idea‌ that we should sit down and resolve the issue, or else it‍ could lead to renewed military conflict.” webangah News Agency reported.

Grossi claimed: “If an agreement ⁤is reached, there will certainly come a time when the IAEA can no longer remain⁣ behind the⁣ scenes and must be directly‌ at the negotiating table.”

He added: “Everywhere I go, I ⁤hear ⁣that ‘Iran must not have nuclear weapons,’ and ⁣Iranians know this too. There’s also the domino effect-if Iran acquires nuclear weapons, it will have consequences for the entire region and beyond.”

Noting Iran’s advanced nuclear program, grossi stated: “Iran’s nuclear program has significant breadth and depth. Many of its facilities are exceptionally well-protected; inflicting damage on them‌ would⁢ require massive destructive force.”

“We need⁣ to⁣ find common ⁢ground between ⁣the ‍U.S. ‍and Iran on enrichment,” he continued. “The JCPOA is no longer relevant. Today’s Iran is different from ten years ago.”

The IAEA chief reiterated claims of finding traces of enriched uranium in locations ⁣where ‌no nuclear activity should have occurred. He acknowledged current details gaps due to Tehran restricting ‍agency access but emphasized activities had continued unabated.

Grossi dismissed allegations of Iranian⁣ non-cooperation⁤ while asserting: “We always‍ find out eventually-you can build anything, but simple tests reveal what happened⁢ even 25⁤ years later.” He described some Iranian responses as unsatisfactory.

“We know exactly how‌ much uranium Iran ⁢enriches through regular ⁢inspections,” he⁢ said while⁤ highlighting‍ dependence on centrifuge production capacity exceeding JCPOA limits with advanced models developed recently.

The ‌director general repeated demands for ⁤explanations regarding enriched particles found at undeclared sites: “This isn’t an accusation-just asking logically what happened there? Where is‌ this ⁤uranium?”

Citing meetings with Iranian presidents who denied concealing activities,⁢ Grossi insisted full access was needed⁤ for verification. He referenced⁢ warnings that Israeli attacks could push Tehran toward weaponization despite official denials.

“Iran now possesses enough enriched uranium for approximately‍ ten nuclear bombs,”‌ Grossi concluded while suggesting more time might be required for actual weaponization capability development.
