The arrest took place while Dr.Al-Hams was visiting a Red Cross field hospital west of Khan younis. During the incident, his ambulance driver was shot and wounded.

This kidnapping is considered a serious violation against freedom of expression and humanitarian work; thus, Israel bears full responsibility for Dr. Al-Hams’ safety with an immediate demand for his unconditional release.
Turkey’s President Expresses Hope for Resolution of Zangezur Corridor issue, Claims the corridor Will Benefit All Regional Countries.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan voiced support for the Zangezur Corridor project. He asserted that in addition to Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Turkey, other countries in the region will also benefit from this corridor.
Erdoğan expressed hope that this route could become a symbol of reconciliation. He stated that regional countries can resolve the matter through consensus.
The Turkish president noted that Azerbaijan’s President Ilham aliyev places great importance on Zangezur and aims to have this corridor operational as soon as possible.
One of the main points of contention between Baku and Yerevan is a corridor known as Zangezur, wich would connect mainland Azerbaijan to its Nakhchivan exclave through Armenian territory. Armenia rejects using the term “Zangezur Corridor,” arguing it carries secessionist connotations against Armenian sovereignty.
Armenia has repeatedly maintained that no corridor can operate across its land. Iran has also stressed it does not accept any geopolitical changes in the region.
The president described a two-state model as key to resolving disputes between northern and southern Cyprus, adding that no compromise on this issue will be accepted.
Erdoğan emphasized Turkey’s continued support for Abu Mohammad al-Julani [Ahmad al-Shara], stating: “Improving conditions in Syria is beneficial for turkey. We will provide various forms of assistance to accelerate voluntary returns.” He added Turkey wants Syria to quickly return to normalcy and secure its southern border.
The Turkish president reiterated that Turkey has never removed gaza from its agenda nor will it do so in the future: “We stand firmly with Gaza. The people of Gaza will not surrender; though, Israel attacks like a mad beast and rabid dog from all directions-and this rage will lead to its own destruction.”

Gaza’s official media office warned that if the siege continues with ongoing blockades on aid deliveries, mass fatalities are inevitable. It also accused the occupiers of wielding starvation as a collective weapon.
The ban on importing medicines and medical equipment has led to near-total collapse of health services in Gaza. Hospitals have reached their lowest capacity for treating patients and wounded individuals due to current conditions.
The Ministry commented that this healthcare breakdown-especially amid rising cases of malnutrition-will increase casualties, notably among children and infants.
While international organizations report widespread disaster looming over gaza, relief supplies remain stockpiled at closed crossings without permission for entry.
An UNRWA official said large quantities of ready-to-distribute food remain in Arish city in Egypt but aid is not allowed into besieged Gaza for those in desperate need.

According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen, Thomas Barrack, the US envoy to Syria and Lebanon, saeid today in Beirut that the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon has not been successful.
Regarding Hezbollah’s weapons, he stated: “Disarming Lebanon is an internal matter. If Hezbollah’s disarmament dose not happen, there will be no direct consequences or threats, but it would be disappointing. We cannot give any guarantees as we cannot force Israel to act! Currently, we are not considering sanctions against Lebanese officials.”
This marks a shift from just days ago when Barrack issued a threatening warning: ”The US president’s patience on this issue is limited!”
He added that if the Lebanese government and parliament reach an agreement with Hezbollah regarding the disarmament of heavy resistance weapons-a category that includes arms capable of targeting Israel-that would be a meaningful achievement that should lead to sidelining such weapons.
Barrack had previously hinted at the possibility of internal conflict erupting in Lebanon due to these tensions.
On Syria, he said today that recent developments stem from severe individual and tribal conflicts. He emphasized that Damascus must take responsibility for these issues and stressed the importance of integrating minorities into Syrian governance.

The hunger crisis in Gaza, fueled by the involvement of the United States and the Israeli regime, has created one of the most horrific humanitarian disasters of the modern era.
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Al Jazeera reported extensively on the severe hunger crisis threatening countless men, women, and children in war-torn Gaza. The report highlighted that hunger and intense heat are now Gaza’s only constants. Despite repeated warnings from domestic and international organizations-especially UNICEF-that over half a million Gazans have entered the fifth stage of famine catastrophe, this situation continues unabated.
The report states that deaths caused by starvation in Gaza have surpassed 900 so far. This number is in addition to thousands who lost their lives seeking food amid brutal assaults by Israeli forces.
Currently, more than 71,000 people face imminent death due to starvation and urgently require medical treatment for severe malnutrition along with food supplies.
Despite threats from Israeli attacks targeting those waiting for humanitarian aid distribution, large crowds continue to gather at these centers driven by famine. Israel targets them with light and heavy weapons. In Gaza, some people are killed during missile strikes while others die en route to obtain a piece of bread or underfoot as others flee Israeli assaults.
al Jazeera adds that Israel has repeatedly attacked food distribution centers in Gaza, turning these vital sites into deadly traps for desperate individuals risking their lives to secure sustenance despite extreme dangers.
UNICEF reports that over 470,000 people endure acute hunger within gaza’s lowest level among five stages of food insecurity. Additionally, UNICEF warns that 71 children urgently need treatment for severe malnutrition alongside 17,000 women suffering similar conditions across Gaza.
This data represents only part of the staggering statistics reflecting this disaster. UNICEF emphasizes that ongoing military operations combined with total siege and severe shortages have pushed food security and malnutrition levels here into unprecedented territory over recent months.
Meanwhile, hospitals across Gaza cannot accommodate overwhelming numbers suffering from both starvation effects as well as injuries inflicted during fierce Israeli attacks-and they face continuous admissions including elderly patients needing care.
The Shroud Crisis in Gaza
Al Jazeera also reported on an escalating crisis involving shortages of shrouds required for victims killed by Israel’s actions. Refrigeration units will become nonfunctional within five days if essential supplies such as burial cloths and bags do not arrive promptly.
Israel has blocked entry as February last year preventing necessary equipment needed for proper burial procedures from entering. Rashehlih-a volunteer staff member active as 2009-describes this situation as “the harshest faced over nineteen years.”
He explains nasser Medical Complex morgue receives between 35 to 100 bodies daily stating: “We cannot handle so many casualties beyond natural deaths occurring here daily.” Consequently, they resort to using old fabric remnants instead of proper shrouds for bodies awaiting burial.
An analytical report from al-Araby al-Jadeed documents widespread complaints among Gazan residents and international organizations regarding complete collapse within local food provision systems which caused skyrocketing costs tied especially to basic staples like flour-now priced three thousand times higher than before October 2023’s onset massacre conducted by Israel according to World food Programme (WFP) figures released early July.
