Gaza Death Toll Surpasses 61,000

The‌ Palestinian⁤ Ministry⁣ of Health⁤ in Gaza has announced that the death toll ⁤from⁣ Israeli military attacks on the ⁤Gaza strip has reached ‍61,020.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza issued a statement ‍reporting the latest casualty figures from Israeli ‍military‍ operations in ⁣the Gaza ‍Strip as October 7, 2023, according to webangah News Agency.

According to the ministry, 61,020 Palestinians have ‍been killed as⁣ an inevitable result of these attacks up to now.

The health ⁢authority also‍ stated that 150,671 ‌people ‌have ‍been injured since the beginning ⁤of hostilities.

in the ‌past 24 hours alone, 87 bodies were transferred to hospitals, and ‍ 644 individuals were wounded.

Al-Rashq: 233 Palestinian Journalists Have Been Killed

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr⁤ News Agency ⁣and‍ Shehab News Agency, Ezzat al-Rishq, a member of Hamas’s political bureau, expressed support for the‌ global initiative “Freedom to Report,” launched by 200 prominent journalists worldwide. He stated: “We back the ‘Freedom to Report’ initiative ⁣calling for the immediate and uncensored entry of foreign⁢ journalists into Gaza for free ‌and ‌autonomous coverage of the genocide and starvation warfare.”

He emphasized⁤ that the occupier regime’s policy of blocking foreign reporters is a blatant violation of press freedom. It is a purposeful act to prevent global public awareness of crimes in Gaza and reflects the regime’s fear of exposing its atrocities and terrorist actions.
